I am a BC registered Music teacher and an active member in the South Fraser branch of BC Registered Music Teacher Association. I have a home-based studio in Walnut Grove, Langley to serve the students in the neighborhoods.

I have started to learn piano when I was 4. I love music and asked my mom at the age of 4 to take me to piano lessons, that's when the journey begins. I love young kids as well as mature students. I believe everyone can learn piano, no matter they are talented or not.

I have started teaching piano at a music studio in Surrey in 2005 and quickly noticed that I love being a teacher to help students achieve their goals which are also my goals. Then I started to work on my own and build my own studio.

I have obtained my piano teacher diploma from BC Conservatory of Music (BCCM) and the Elementary pedagogy certificate from Royal Conservatory of Canada (RCM). I continue on professional education by joining workshops and obtained Teacher Certificates from RCM as Elementary, Intermediate & Advanced Specialist.

I have experiences putting students in examinations and festivals of RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music), BCCM (BC Conservatory of Music) and ARBSM (Associated Board of Music in UK), as well as local festivals and competitions.

Music theory is a big part of music learning and I can teach all levels of music theory including harmony and history up to teacher levels. With the current requirement, each practical piano level comes with music theory level.

I can speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin and teach all year round including summer time, so students do not need to worry about not be able to learn during summer holiday.
